Caryn Maconi

I am a communications professional with three years of involvement in the Olympic Movement, as well as prior positions in editorial journalism and sports information. Currently, I work in communications for the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Foundation, the fundraising branch of the U.S. Olympic Committee. In this role, I write athlete feature stories illustrating impact to donors, create compelling fundraising collateral, assist with Annual Fund communications and manage the foundation’s website, Give.TeamUSA.org.

I began my career in the Olympic Movement as a Communications Intern for U.S. Paralympics. In this role, I supported Team USA at the Sochi 2014 Paralympic Winter Games and Toronto 2015 Parapan American Games as a press relations assistant and editor of the Team USA Daily newsletter.

Previously, I held editorial positions with University of Colorado Sports Information and VeloNews, a cycling magazine based in Boulder, Colorado. I have contributed as a freelance writer to Hawaii Sport Magazine, Tri-magazine.net, The Olympian alumni magazine, and Shipmate, the United States Naval Academy’s alumni magazine.
